  BIBLE STUDIES

At Harvest Church we strive to meet you where you are in your walk with God. Therefore, we offer bible studies for all levels of experience in order to help you connect with God is a real and personal way. And, we believe that small groups are the best way to help you connect and grow in your walk with Him.

We believe that small groups represent the best method for establishing relationships and community. Small groups stimulate spiritual growth, support marriages and families, and equip members for leadership and ministry.

Here are some of the ongoing small group bible studies we are offering:

40 Days of Purpose: "The Purpose Driven Life"

A groundbreaking manifesto on the meaning of life.

The most basic question everyone faces in life is Why am I here? What is my purpose? Self-help books suggest that people should look within, at their own desires and dreams, but Rick Warren says the starting place must be with God and his eternal purposes for each life. Real meaning and significance comes from understanding and fulfilling God’s purposes for putting us on earth.

The Purpose-Driven Life is a manifesto for Christian living in the 21st century...a lifestyle based on eternal purposes, not cultural values. Using biblical stories and letting the Bible speak for itself, Warren clearly explains God’s five purposes for each of us:

We were planned for God’s pleasure, so your first purpose is to offer real worship.
We were formed for God’s family, so your second purpose is to enjoy real fellowship.
We were created to become like Christ, so your third purpose is to learn real discipleship.
We were shaped for serving God, so your fourth purpose is to practice real ministry.
We were made for a mission, so your fifth purpose is to live out real evangelism.

If you are looking to grow in your knowledge of the bible and in your walk with God, this small group is for you! We will be teaching this six week study in homes in the community on a regular basis.

40 Days of Community: "Better Together"

What on Earth Are We here for?

Our lives are increasingly disconnected inspite of all of our means to stay in touch. But God never intended for us to live this way. We were never meant to fulfill our God-given purposes alone.

This six-week study will help your small group or ministry experience relational renewal. Each week you will discover how we can love, reach out, fellowship, grow, serve, and worship together.

Cultivate deeper relationships with those around you as you discover how we are Better Together.

This study is the second in the 40 Days Discipleship series. We will be teaching this six week study in homes in the community on a regular basis.

40 Days of Love " The Relationship Principles of Jesus"

Nothing matters more than relationships—and no one understands them better than Jesus. Based on an exhaustive study of what Jesus did and said about relationships, this book guides readers on a forty-day journey that will bring new health and richness to their marriages, families, friendships, and all the relationships in their lives.

In this small group study, Rick Warren teaches that learning to love God and others is to be our highest goal, our greatest aim, our first priorty, our deepest aspiration, our strongest ambition, our constant focus our passionate intention and our dominant life value. The more we learn how to love authentically, the more we become like Jesus.

This study is the third in the 40 Days Discipleship series. We will be teaching this six week study in homes in the community on a regular basis. Please go to the small groups page to see dates, locations, and times.
